Honda Civic Accessory Mode Won't Turn Off
Honda civic accessory mode won't turn off - Does anyone have experience with these steps working on newer push-button Civics or Accords. To turn off accessory mode on Your Honda Civic You have to press the power button and have the car shut off completely. If you press the button again with your foot off the brake it goes into the On mode which is just like if you had a key and turned it all the way on but without going to Start. Push start button once to get radio and twice to get everything else. If you dont have your foot on the brake when you push the Start button then the car goes into Accessory Mode. Mode and I had to cycle it through to turn it off. Putting the car into park after you push the power button in car wash mode will turn the car off though. Not sure why that happened and didnt bother to mention it to dealer because not repeatable. Average failure mileage is 12000 miles. Just trying to follow the directions.
